KwaZulu-Natal - situated between the Moçambique and Swaziland borders in the north, and the Mtamvuna River in the south, protected by the majestic Drakensberg escarpment in the west and washed by the warm Indian Ocean in the east, the subtropical province of KwaZulu-Natal is considered paradise on earth. The province has an enormous amount on offer to both the local and foreign tourist, from those seeking exciting wildlife experiences or energetic adventures, to those looking for majestic vistas or restorative peace and quiet.

KwaZulu-Natal can be divided into nine tourism regions, as shown on the map to the right. Click on an area of the map, or on one of the links below it, for a brief description of your chosen region.

Further information can be obtained from the plan and book section of this site or by emailing the KwaZulu-Natal Tourism Authority through the any questions section of this site.
